iHigh Virtual Academy is a tuition-free public high school offering students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma primarily online.

Who Can Apply

Fulltime students in grades 9 through 12 who live within San Diego Unified School District boundaries

Fulltime students in grades 9 through 12 who live outside San Diego but obtain an interdistrict transfer permit

Students in grades 9-12 who currently attend a San Diego Unified high school

Students with IEPs who currently attend a San Diego Unified high school may be eligible, pending approval by the IEP team.

Summer Program start

Summer Program dates are June 22 through July 31, which are the same as the district’s summer school dates.

iHigh is a San Diego Unified School District atypical high school, not a charter school.
