II Year Lateral Entry in WB colleges
Will you please tell me how can I take lateral entry in 2nd year in colleges of West Bengal (WB)??? Yes, you can take lateral entry admission in 2nd year in colleges of West Bengal by passing Joint Entrance Examination for lateral entry (JELET) Joint Entrance Examination for lateral entry (JELET) is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for admission to 2nd year of Bachelor degree in Engineering/Technology and Pharmacy Eligibility --- Nationality - You must be a citizen of India. Age - There is no age restriction for diploma holders of Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy but there is age limitation for B.Sc candidates. Upper age limit for B.Sc Candidate is 27 years Education: Diploma Holders: You should have secured minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from an AICTE approved institution B.Sc holders: Must have Passed B.Sc with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from a recognized University and Pass XII standard with Mathematics as a subject. Pharmacy Holders: You must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy from an AICTE approved Institution with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category). Pattern of Examination: - JELET examination is two hours duration - It is Objective test with total 100 questions. -Each question carrying 1(one) marks. -For each incorrect, 1/3 mark will be deducted.
