IIHM Young Chef Rules

Hi I am interested in having the information about the World's second Young Chef Olympiad 2017 which is initiated by International Institute of Hotel Management?

World's second Young Chef Olympiad 2017 is being sorted out in January in India.

It's an occasion that brings the best culinary ability from crosswise over 67+ unique countries to India for a Grand Finale to be held in Kolkata on first February, 2017.

The event, supported by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and will encourage participants to connect with global trends as well as will act as a platform to nurture talent in different fields.

Youthful Chefs from 67+ countries in the wake of getting chose, will fly down to India on 26th January to speak to their nation in a cook-off that will most recent 4 days beginning 29th January to first February. The outcomes will be grouped and the Grand Finale is planned on Monday first February 2015 at Kolkata.

50+ Countries have affirmed their interest and 20 more are in procedure of affirmation.

There is no interest charge included. Go inside India including sustenance and settlement will be taken care. The First prize is $ 10,000 USD.

The occasion will be secured by World Media and will be judged by an extremely senior group of Chefs from over the globe.


Schedule of Events
Date wise details will be shared closer to the competition.

26th January 2017
Arrival in New Delhi, India. Hotel Check in and registration.

27th January 2017
Day to relax with the opening ceremony in the evening.

28th January 2017
Travel Day: Participants will split into separate groups to compete in the first round of the competition. This will be indicated to each of the participating countries closer to the time of competition. Participants from the Delhi group will have their first round while the other two group will be travelling to their respective destinations .

29th January 2017
Participants from Pune and Bangalore will be having their first round of the competition followed by travel to Kolkata in late evening.

30th January 2017
Round 2 of the competition in Kolkata

31st January 2017
Second round prelims of the competition continues.

1st February 2017
Finals in Kolkata with Award Ceremony.

2nd February 2017
Departure to respective countries.

Timings: – will be announced according to actual programme schedule.
