INSPIRE Awards has been organized by the Indian Institute of Information Technology- Allahabad . Can you please provide the list of Shortlisted candidates selected for the Inspire Internship Program of IIIT Allahabad ? What was the purpose of INSPIRE Awards ?

I shifted Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh and took admission in Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad came to know about award function held here. Can you provide details about the IIIT Allahabad Inspire Awards also provide list of current projects running?

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad is a public university in Allahabad, in Uttar Pradesh state in northern India. About INSPIRE Award: The Centre has selected Indian Institute of Information Technology-Allahabad (IIIT-A) as the nodal agency for implementing national INSPIRE award programme in Uttar Pradesh. Under the award programme,the government plans to identify one million students in the country who have scientific aptitude. Students studying in schools — both government and private — between Class VI and Class X of all education Boards will be eligible for the programme. Each INSPIRE awardee will receive Rs 5,000 for making a project,which will subsequently be displayed in various science exhibitions — from local to national levels — for final selection which will be judged by a panel of jury members. "Silicon Nanowires: Professional Compact Model of Scale Thermoelectric Figure of Merit for Energy Harvesting", Principle Investigator: Dr. Rekha Verma, funded by Young Scientist Scheme, DST, Govt. of India, (Duration: 2015-2018), Grant sanctioned: INR, 23 Lacs (appx). Status: Ongoing.
