M.Tech IT, M.Tech CSE, M.Tech ECS, M.Tech EEE, M.Tech EC and M.Tech IN are a number of common programmes available in IIIT Bangalore.

IIIT Bangalore 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

GATE Exam scores are considered as valid

Tech program of course duration 4 years will be considered as necessary

Candidates may come up with B.Tech or BE program or equivalent educational qualification

Candidates should come up with aggregation of 65% of marks

UG degree programmes those who have done their Under Graduation with suitable course duration of 3 years followed by the M.Sc program with first class or merit marks based on the subject of Physical sciences will be allowed to attend the test

Candidates may be an MCA Degree holder and such candidates must come up with aggregation of 65%

Final year graduate candidates may also attend the test as on August month

Selection Procedure

Admissions to the Integrated M.Tech. program is exclusively on the basis of score of Paper-I of JEE (Main) announced under the Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) - 2016, conducted by CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION.

Candidates must update the requisite details in the online application form.

There is no fixed cut-off of JEE (Main) Score in Paper 1 for admissions to the iMTech program.

In 2015, admission offers were made upto JEE score CSE:185 and ECE:168. The JEE Score cut-off for 2016 will vary depending upon the actual applications received.
