Well yes there is a campus for the Indian Institute of Mass Communication IIMC in the Jammu And Kashmir

IIMC set up its new Regional Centre at Jammu during 2012-13.

The Government of Jammu & Kashmir has provided rent free accommodation to IIMC for academic facilities, as well as for the students' hostel and guest house for visiting faculty.

In addition, land measuring 11 acres has already been earmarked for setting up of a permanent campus for this Centre, while the process for the allotment of additional 4 acres of land is in its final stages.
