IISC Bangalore Internship Eligibility
What is the minimum eligibility required to apply for Internship at IISC Bangalore?? B.E/B.Tech students who are pursuing second or third year of the course are eligible for summer internship in IISc. Summer Internship facility is offered mainly at two constituent centers of IISc, Computer Science and Automation (CSA) and Supercomputer Education and Research Centre (SERC). Eligibility Criteria for Summer Internship in IISc -Those who are enrolling in the second or third year of engineering studies are eligible to apply for summer internship in IISc. -Such candidates must be pursuing their B.E/B.Tech degree in any of the streams of Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Electronics and Instrumentation. - Must have obtained minimum 75% marks in B.E/B.Tech up to the semesters/years completed so far. Areas of internship in IISc For B.E /B.Tech students in Computer Science or Information Technology— Algorithmic Algebra High Performance Computing Data Mining Video Analytics Operating Systems Parallel Computing Program Analysis Programming Languages & Tools Social Network Xen Virtual Machines Numerical Linear Algebra Compilers Computer Networks Game Theory Graph Theory and Algorithms Pattern Recognition For B.E /B.Tech students in Electronics and Communications Engineering— Numerical Linear Algebra Video Analytics Embedded Systems and Applications For B.E /B.Tech students in Electronics and Communications engineering /Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering— Video Analytics Numerical Linear Algebra For B.E /B.Tech students in Mechanical Engineering— Parallel Finite Element Methods Numerical Linear Algebra For B.E /B.Tech students in Aerospace/Civil /Chemical Engineering— Parallel Finite Element Methods Application Procedure for Summer Internship Program in IISc -Eligible and desirous students can apply online through the web portal of IISc. - Must upload a reference letter while submitting the application form. -Reference letter must be in web-based form issued either by the Head of the Department or the Principal of the college. -Any senior faculty member of the college can also issue the reference letter. Selection: -Selection of most eligible candidates is done by a committee of faculty members at the Departments of CSA/SERC. -Selected candidates should reach the institute on the insisted date. -They can join the internship program after certificate verification process.
