IISER Bhopal offers Ph.D. programme in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Mathematics and Physics. Applications are generally invited from bright and highly motivated students for admission into the Ph.D. Programme (starting August 2014).

Eligibility:

Education:
Must hold M.Sc./ M.Tech Degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 7.0 along with a valid GATE IUGC / CSIR / JEST / ICMR / DBT.

Nationality:
-Must be Indian

Age:
-Your age preferably not more than 28 years as on August 01, 2014
-Age relaxation of 5 years will be given for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Female applicants.

Fellowship:
All selected candidates will be eligible for either Institute fellowship of Rs. 16,000/- or as per existing funding agency norms, subject to satisfactory performance in their course work.
