Is the admission in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology for B tech based on IIT JEE score or any other entrance exam ?/

Yes you can get admission in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology for B tech through IIT JEE score or ISAT entrance exam score .
ISAT entrance exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology


IIST offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programmes in three branches:
B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering: 60 seats
B.Tech. in Avionics: 60 seats
B.Tech. in Physical Sciences: 36 seats


Eligibility :
For admission in B tech you have to passed 12th grade examination with physics , chemistry and mathematics subject from a well recognized university ..


Minimum Prescribed category-wise marks in JEE (Advanced)-2014 as given below:-
You must obtained at least 5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics). At least 20% marks in aggregate


Other Backward Community – Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) Candidates: At least 18% marks in aggregate and at least 4.5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics).


(c) Scheduled Caste(SC), Scheduled Tribe(ST) & Persons with Disabilities(PD) Candidates: At least 10% marks in aggregate and at least 2.5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics).


For admission you have to pass an entrance examination organized by IIST or JEE entrance examination with good marks .
