There is no entrance exam for M.Tech admissions in IIST or Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. It is on the basis of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores.

Candidates who have valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores can apply for admissions to the following

• Solid State Technology

IIST M.Tech Admission Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant should be an Indian citizen

• B.E./ B.Tech Degree with Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in the respective disciplines or equivalent

• For some courses: M.Sc. or MS in the respective discipline is acceptable

• Candidates must have obtained valid GATE scores

• Age limit is 28 years. Relaxation for SC/ST as per norms

• Candidates must have a valid GATE score
