IIT Admission New Rules
Will you please provide the IIT new admission rules ? IIT stands for the Indian Institutes of Technology . IITs imparts courses like M.Sc. in Engineering, Maths, Physics and Chemistry, MBA, PhD where admission is based on Common Admission Test ,Joint Admission Test to M.Sc. (JAM) and Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED). Admission in the undergraduate courses based on Joint Entrance Examination and in M. Tech. courses admission is based on Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering .IIT are government engineering and management educational institutes in India. New Admission Rules: CBSE , New Delhi conducts Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) from 2013 for admissions in to IITs, NITs, IIITs, Deemed Universities and other central funded technical colleges from April and June 2013. The exam will be taken in two parts, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. The JEE (Main) (Paper I of earlier AIEEE) for B.E./B.Tech will be in 2 modes, i.e. offline and online (CBT). The marks secured from the new JEE and marks secured from the qualifying 10+2 board examination will combined together for the seat selection process in top institutions. Only 1,50,000 of the top rankers in JEE (Main), which constitutes applicants from all categories (GE, OBC (NCL), SC and ST) will be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)-2013 (known as IIT-JEE) for admission to IITs, IIT BHU and ISM Dhanbad.
