The Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering (BSBE) is a Nodal Centre for applying science and engineering principles to further fundamental knowledge and applications in biology and biomedical engineering.

PhD Programmes :
The Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering Comprises of BT (Biotechnology) and BME(Biomedical Engineering) as Core Academic groups.

MSc-PhD Dual Degree Program
Admission is through the Joint Admission for M.Sc. (JAM) exam.
The allocation of the Guide will be at the end of fourth semester based on mutual (i.e., candidate and the guide) consent.

MTech (Biomedical Engineering) Program
The curriculum has been designed to provide all students with general background in Biomedical Engineering followed by more specific knowledge in area of choice.

MSc (Biotechnology) Program
A Four Semester program to impart in-depth knowledge of molecular cell biology, computational biology and their applications
