The CFD team at FOSEE, IIT Bombay facilitates the use of OpenFOAM (Open source Field Operation and Manipulation) .

It can be widely used in Engineering colleges across India as a replacement for commercial CFD packages .


OpenFOAM is a free and open source CFD toolbox.

It has a very large database across engineering academia and commercial front.

OpenFOAM has an extensive range of features to solve anything from complex fluid flows involving chemical reactions, turbulence and heat transfer, to solid dynamics and electromagnetics.

FOSSEE team organises and conducts Workshops, Conference and Seminars to educate the users across India.
