Timeline 2016:

Filing of Nominations: January 22, 2016 For E-cell OC: February 9, 2016

Withdrawl of Nominations: January 25, 2016 For E-cell OC: February 10, 2016

Manifesto Submission: February 2, 2016 For E-cell OC: February 10, 2016

Campaigning Starts: February 4, 2016 For E-cell: February 11, 2016

Campaigning Ends: February 13, 2016

Silent Day: February 14, 2016

Polling Day: February 15, 2016

Manifesto Submission for Institute Secretaries: February 6, 2016


Instructions on the Electorate

• Elections for the Institute General Secretaries (Cultural/HA/Sports) and Overall Coordinators (MI/TF/eCell/STAB/SARC):
The electorate comprises the entire student community of IIT Bombay.

• Elections for the General Secretary Academic Affairs (UG):
The electorate would comprise all Undergraduate (B.Tech./ B.Des/ Dual Degree/ 5 yr M.Sc.(Integrated)/ 2yr M.Sc) students.

2 yr M.Sc. programs at IITB:
o M.Sc.(Physics) Dept. of Physics
o M.Sc.(Chemistry) Dept. of Chemistry
o M.Sc.(Mathematics) Dept. of Mathematics
o M.Sc.(Applied Statistics and Informatics) Dept. of Mathematics
o M.Sc.(Applied Geology) Dept. of Earth Sciences
o M.Sc.(Applied Geophysics) Dept. of Earth Sciences
o M.Sc.(Biotechnology) School of Biosciences & Bioengineering

• Elections for the General Secretary Academic Affairs (PG):
The electorate would comprise all Postgraduate (Ph.D./ M.Tech./ M.Phil./ M.Des./ M.Mgt./ PGDIIT/ MSc-Ph.D. Dual Degree) students.

• Elections for the Institute Secretaries (Cult/Sports):
The electorate comprises of the institute council and 4 nominees from each hostel.
