RSF or Research Scholars’ Forum of IIT Bombay is a PhD student body formed in 1998 to represent research scholars of Institute.

It is providing the platform to communicate both academic and non-academic concerns of research scholars. It was started to unite the research scholar community for its own welfare.

RSF facilitates to share one’s opinion, learn and grow as a community through various activities like seminars, workshop etc. These activities act as a channel connecting researchers throughout our institute giving a healthy research culture and also to convey grievances and issues to concerned authorities through proper means.

It comes under the purview of Dean SA (Student Affairs) and supported/supervised by a Faculty member. While all research scholars are appreciated to participate and volunteer for the activities, an overall coordinator and a few managers are assigned to oversee and coordinate its activities.
