IIT Bombay offers French, German, Japanese, Italian & Chinese language courses.

French, German, Japanese, Italian & Chinese language courses:

Eligibility :
Only for current IITB students and staff members their family members.
Minimum age limit :12 years.

Charging a course fee : Rs. 1500/-

Duration and modules of the courses :

Two separate modules of 50-50 hours each in two semesters.

Module 1 in Autumn semester
Module II in Spring semester.

Module II is an advancement of Module I

Clearance of Module I is mandatory for admission into Module II.

Criteria for awarding certificates:

Necessary to appear for all the tests.

Minimum test score of 50% is required in the module.
