A vital activity has been taken by IIT Bombay as a component of the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT) to work with Engineering College educators in the nation to upgrade their showing aptitudes in center Engineering and Science Subjects.

This project, " Teach a Thousand Teachers," working under the umbrella of Project Ekalavya, is the brainchild of Prof. Deepak Phatak, of the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering. Under this anticipate, IIT Bombay conducts two-week ISTE workshops at different remote focuses the nation over, amid the late spring and winter get-away. These workshops are directed in separation mode, utilizing web, for live transmission and connection through the AVIEW programming.
