Advanced geoscience skills in petroleum exploration, particularly in seismic interpretation, basin analysis, sequence stratigraphy, reservoir sedimentology, petrophysics and wireline logging tools and data interpretation, using workstations and relevant software as used in the industry.

Extensive exposure to state-of-the-art technology tools and software.

Training at selected oil companies. A 1 year project supervised by IIT-B faculty and professionals from oil industry.

Eligibility
Eligibility: M.Sc. (Geology / Applied Geology / Geophysics / Applied Geophysics) and valid GATE score.

Fellowships: 8 TAs as per Institute norm and 2 fellowships will be provided by the BG.
