The detail of the Treasure Hunt: Hackers and The Chamber of Secrets Online hacking contest at IIT Bombay in 2006 is as follows:

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has set up a Chamber of Secrets which Harry Potter and his friends have to unravel to save their school, Hogwarts, from peril.

But the Dark Lord has become tech savvy and has setup his Chamber of Secrets online.

Though Harry and his friends are now well versed with magic incantations, their hacking skills are rudimentary.

That is why they have approached you to hack into the Dark Lord's Chamber of Secrets and help them in saving Hogwarts from the impending doom.

Hermoine, the brainy one in Harry's gang, has found out that the Chamber of Secrets has various stages. She has also found out that cracking each stage would lead you to the next stage.

After certain stages, cracking a stage will give you a clue which will be helpful in saving Hogwarts. Also beware that as you move on through the stages, they become trickier.

The good news is that Harry and his friends will do their bit and will provide you with hints from time to time as you move into the tougher stages.

The objective is to crack the various stages of this Chamber of Secrets and collect the clues. The Hacker who is able to penetrate all the defenses of the Dark Lord and collect all the clues necessary for saving Hogwarts will be hailed as the Champion Hacker or in "hackerese".......The Zen Master Of Hacking !!
