The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer based test held in India.

The test scores a candidate on the bases of Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability (VA) and Reading Comprehension (RC), Data Interpretation (DI) and Logical Reasoning (LR).

Eligibility criteria:

A graduate degree from a recognized institution

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and secured the at least the below mentioned percentage depending upon the category of the candidate

General 50%
Scheduled Caste 45%
Scheduled Tribe 45%
Persons with disabilities 45%

Exam Pattern:

Paper will have mix of MCQ and NON MCQ questions
Duration of the Exam Will be three Hours or 180 Minutes
Each Correct Answer will bring 3 Marks
For wrong answers there is a penalty of -1 marks
The tesr paper will have three papers Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation and Verbal Reasoning
Total Paper Will Contain 100 Questions
