Re: IIT Jodhpur Mechanical Engineering
The yearning to add to national and worldwide causes, for example, the sunlight based mission and environmental change is at the heart of the scholarly exercises completed inside the Department of Mechanical Engineering IIT Jodhpur. A few application spaces of enthusiasm for Mechanical Engineering, (for example, sun based vitality, car advancements and wellbeing) propel Students, Staff Members and Faculty Members. The B.Tech. Program in Mechanical Engineering initiated in 2008, since the beginning of IIT Jodhpur. From that point forward three clusters have graduated and the vast majority of the Alumni are seeking after effective vocations in the business. Amid the most recent six years, a few communitarian ventures have been started with various enterprises and research labs crosswise over India, (for example, Thermax, Sunborne, Areva, STEAG, BHEL, IOCL, ONGC, BARC, and NFTDC) to seek after innovative work in the region of mechanical designing. Courses 1. B.Tech. (ME) The courses of B.Tech. (ME) Program are grouped into the following sets: (a) Hands-on Exploration, (b) Basics, (c) Compulsory, (d) Electives, and (e) Life skills. 2. M. Tech. (ME) 3. Ph.D. Program in Mechanical Engineering Laboratories The following laboratories are used for teaching and research purposes: Advance Manufacturing Laboratory Central Workshop EM Energy Conversion Laboratory Fluid Mechanics & Heat Transfer Laboratory High Temprature Solar Thermal Laboratory Material Testing & Solid Mechanics Laboratory Renewable Energy Laboratory Solar Radiation Laboratory Dynamics & Vibration Laboratory Faculty Members Head B.
