All India Institute of Medical Sciences was announced important dates for MBBS examination. AIIMS MBBS important dates provide information about the undergraduate medical entrance exam events and their scheduled dates. The coveted medical institution will be conducting its MBBS entrance examination on May 28, 2017. The application form for the test are available from January 24 onwards, till February 23, 2017. Important Dates Registration Notification January 22, 2017 Online registration starts January 24, 2017 Online registration Last Date February 23, 2017 at 5:00 PM Status of registration including rejections and deficiencies in application form March 7, 2017 AIIMS MBBS Admit Card 2017 May 1, 2017 Date of Examination (Online) May 28, 2017 Declaration of AIIMS MBBS Result 2017 June 14, 2017 First Counselling July 3 to 6, 2017 Second Counselling August 3, 2017 Third Counselling September 4, 2017 Open Counselling September 27, 2017 Age: Candidates must complete 17 years Education Qualification: Candidates have passed the 12 Class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or same examination from a recognised University/ Board Candidates who will appear for 10+2/HSC can also apply for AIIMS MBBS General and OBC candidates must have passed 10+2/HSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 60% marks while for SC/ST the qualifying marks is 50% Exam pattern: Exam Date Date: May 28, 2017 Exam Time Morning Session – 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM Evening Session – 03:00 PM to 06:30 PM Exam Mode Computer Based Test i.e. Online mode Types of questions Multiple choice and reason-assertion based Number of Questions 200 Distribution of Questions Physics – 60 Chemistry – 60 Biology (Zoology & Botany) – 60 General Knowledge - 20 Total – 200 Questions Marking Scheme For correct answer: +1 marks are given For incorrect answer: 1/3 (One third) mark is deducted |
