Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET 2016 is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII CTET 2016 will be held on 18th September 2016. Important dates- Submission of Online Application: 22.06.2016 to 18.07.2016 Last Date for Online Submission of Application: 19.07.2016 Final status of candidates check status & particulars of candidates whose fees received 20.07.2016 Period for On-line Corrections in Particulars (No correction will be allowed in any particulars after this date): 20.07.2016 to 25.07.2016 Download Admit Card from CTET Website: 17.08.2016 Date of Exam:18.09.2016 Paper-II 09:30 to 12:00 PM Paper-I 02:00 to 04:30 PM Declaration of Results on or before: 2nd Week of November (tentatively) CTET Eligibility Criteria- For Paper I Candidate must have 50% in (10 + 2) i. e. higher secondary along with two-year diploma in elementary education OR Candidate must have 50% in senior secondary along with either a 4 year’s degree of education or the candidate has appeared in the last year of their B.ED For Paper II Candidate must have secured 50% in graduation along with one-year degree of Bachelor in education (B-ED) or (B-ED) in special education OR Candidate must have secured 50% in senior secondary along with either a degree or have appeared in last year in any of following courses B.A/B.SC.ED or B.A.ED/B.SC.ED CTET 2016 Exam Fees For Paper-I or Paper-II (one of these): Rs.600/- (General/OBC)/ Rs.300/- (SC/ST/Diff. Abled) For Paper-I and Paper-II (both): Rs.1000/- (General/OBC)/ Rs.500/- (SC/ST/Diff. Abled) The application fee can be submitted through Challan/Debit/Credit Card CTET Exam Pattern The CTET examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ’s); there will be no negative marking; there will be 2 papers of CTET Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II) |
