Thiruvananthapuram, holds the KEAM every year for entrance examination for admission into medical, engineering, veterinary, agriculture, fisheries and architecture.

Syllabus for KEAM

According to the selection of programmes, candidates need to write 2 papers in the KEAM Entrance.

For Engineering candidates Paper 1 will be Physics and Chemistry and Paper 2 will be Mathematics.

For Medical Entrance Examination Paper 1 will be Physics and Chemistry and Paper 2 will be Biology

KEAM Important Chapters for Mathematics

For mathematics, Algebra section the questions are

Relations and functions
Quadratic equations
Permutations
Quadratic Equations
Combinations
Mathematical Inductions
Binomial theorem

For Trigonometry section, the important questions are
Trigonometric functions
Inverse Trigonometric functions.

For Geometry sections, make sure you study the lines and

Cartesian System of Rectangular Coordinates
Vectors
Conic sections
Three Dimensional Geometry.
