Yes the IMU CET is invited candidates for to get admission for B.tech in Marine Engineering. IMU CET is conducted by Indian Maritime University for admission to various Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes offered by IMU and its affiliated Institutes.

IMU Admission will be done on the basis of All India Common Entrance Tests conducted every year popularly known as IMU CET and will be for admission in August batch into following courses.

B.Tech. Marine Engineering - 4 years (Marine Engineering Colleges in India)
B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering)
B.Sc (Maritime Science) - 3 years
B.Sc. Nautical Science - 3 years
B.Sc. Ship Building and Repair- 3 years
Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) 1 year leading to B.Sc. Nautical Science

Eligibility

Candidate who have passed Class 12 or equivalent in the first attempt

Those appearing in Class 12 (Qualifying Exam) can also appear for IMU CET provided they appear in the Qualifying exam
