After clearing the SSB Interview, he/she is expected to undergo a Medical Examination held at the medical boards for Joining Indian Army.

Students who are declared fit by the medical board are eligible to join the Training Academy.

The physical requirements are as following:

For Males:
Height should be 157 CMS
Weight should be correlated to Height
Chest should be 80 cms and Expansion Upto 5 CMS
Eye Vision Should be 6/12

For Females
Height should be 152 CMS
Chest should be 79 CMS and Expansion Upto 5 CMS
Eye Vision Should be 6/6 or 6/9
