Indian Bank was founded in the year 1907 under the Government of India. The bank has a large number of branches spread in India.

It conducts exam for the Recruitment of Sportspersons Vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria : For Officers :-

Must be 21 - 30 years of age, as on 01.07.2010

Graduate in any discipline,

Should have represented the Country or won an Arjuna Award or represented the State with distinction for at least five years in continuation

For Clerks :-

Must be 18 - 28 years of age, as on 01.07.2010

Pass in 10+ 2 examination or its equivalent,

Should have represented the State in National event, or the District in State level event with distinction, or his University in an Inter-University event with distinction or if he was a member of combined Universities Team.

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be on the basis of performance of the candidates in the Interview.

Depending upon the number of applications received, the Bank reserves the right to call only a required number of candidates, after preliminary screening with reference to their qualification, suitability and sports qualification / experience.

Application Fees : The fees of Rs.400 (Officer) and Rs.300 (Clerk) and Rs.50 (for SC/ST in both cadres).

Pay Scale:

Officers: Consolidated salary of Rs. 14500-25700 per month.
Clerk: Consolidated salary of Rs. 7200-19300 per month.
