Hello sir, I’m preparing for Indian Engineering Services exam. Is there any one can provide me here exam date for Indian Engineering Services exam?

The Union Public Service Commission is conducted the Engineering Services Examination on January 8, 2017.

The Result of IES Prelims Exam will be made available in March 2017.

The Mains Examination of IES is scheduled to be conducted on May 14, 2017. The IES Mains Examination Result will be declared in February/March 2017

Candidates aged between 21 and 30 years.

Educational Qualification:-

Candidates must have B.E./B.Tech or passed sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) or
Obtained a degree/diploma in engineering from such foreign university/college/institution recognized by the Government of India from time to time


IES paper Pattern:-

Category-I Civil Engineering
Paper-I (General Studies and Engineering Aptitude) - 2 hrs - 200 marks
Paper-II (Civil Engineering) - 3 hrs - 300 marks
Total - 500 marks

Category-II Mechanical Engineering
Paper-I (General Studies and Engineering Aptitude) - 2 hrs - 200 marks
Paper-II (Mechanical Engineering) - 3 hrs - 300 marks
Total - 500 marks

Category-III Electrical Engineering
Paper-I (General Studies and Engineering Aptitude) - 2 hrs - 200 marks
Paper-II (Electrical Engineering) - 3 hrs - 300 marks

Category-IV Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
