The CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) is one of the oldest National Laboratories under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) which was started as the Central Laboratories for Scientific & Industrial Research (CLSIR) in Hyderabad in 1944.

In India it is one of the oldest National Laboratories the reliable destination of chemical and biotech industries. It has made its mark as a dynamic, innovative and result oriented R&D organization.

Academic Calendar

The M Tech and PhD course work is offered in two semesters.
The first semester will be from January to May and the second semester from August to December.
Students are required to complete all the coursework requirements within the first two years for Ph D course, and within one year for M Tech course.
