The Indian Institute of Forest Management is a sectoral management institute, which constantly endeavors to evolve knowledge useful for the managers in the area of Forest, Environment and Natural Resources Management and allied sectors.

The Indian Institute of Forest Management was founded in 1982 by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India.

The Indian Institute of Forest Management is an autonomous institution at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, India.

IIFM conducts following courses:

Post Graduate Diploma in Forest Management (PFM)
M.Phil. in Natural Resource Management (MRM) and
Fellow Program in Management (FPM) equivalent to Ph.D
