Indian Institute of Science is a public university for scientific research and higher education located in Bangalore, India.

It was established in 1909 with active support from Jamsetji Tata it is also locally known as the "Tata Institute"

Here as per your demand I am providing you details of the Summer Fellowship Programme in Science and Engineering of this Institute:

Eligibility Criteria:

-The applicant must be from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.

-The applicant must be studying in First year of M.Sc. in Science disciplines, i.e. Biological, Physical, Chemical & Mathematical Sciences

OR

The applicant must be studying in Third year of B.E./ B. Tech or equivalent Degree

Reward

The applicant will get a Fellowship of Rs. Five Thousand (5000/-)

The fellows will also receive a Book Grant of Rs. Fifteen Hundred (1500/-)

The selected candidates will also get a Travelling Allowance of IInd Class Train Fare from the nearest Station college or residence to IISc and return

The fellows will also be able to receive Free Boarding and Lodging at IISc. (on sharing basis).

The selected candidates will also get the opportunity to work with one of the IISc.

Procedure of Selection:

Indian Institute of Science will prepare a appropriate criteria for the selection of the candidates for IISc Summer Fellowship in Science and Engineering programme.
