Indian Navy Admission Procedure For Girls
Can you tell me about the admission process fro Girls or Women in Indian Army as my sister wants to make a career in that field? Earlier women were train only in the Armed Forces Medical core. From 1992 the Navy started inducting women as Short Service Commissioned officers in selective branches of the Navy. Now they are introducing into the following branches of the Navy as Officers:- 1. ATC 2. Observer 3. Law 4. Logistics 5. Education 6. Naval Architecture The government also approved for Permanent Commission (PC) in Education, Law and Naval Architect branch on completion of SSC tenure depending upon merit and vacancy. EXECUTIVE SSC –ATC Ist Class Science Graduate with Physics/ Maths/ Electronics or MSc with Physics/ Maths/ Electronics with min 55% marks. Age: 19½ - 25 SSC- Observer A graduate Degree in any discipline with min 55% marks with Mathematics & Physics at 10+2 level. Age: 19-23 SSC Law A Degree in Law qualifying for enrolment as an Advocate under the Advocates Act 1961 with min 55% marks. Age: 22 – 27 SSC Logistics 1st Class Degree in BA (Economics), BCom, BSc(IT), CA/ ICWA, Catering Technology or BCA/ MCA, or B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Computers, IT, Architecture or Graduate with PG Diploma in Material Management. Age: 19½ - 25 EDUCATION SSC Education A Master's Degree in following with at least 50% marks Physics (with Maths in B Sc) or Maths (with Physics in B Sc) Computer Application OR B.E/ B.Tech in Mech/ Electrical/ Electronics / IT/ Computer Science with 60% marks. Age: 21 – 25 ENGINEERING SSC(Naval Architecture) BE/BTech in Naval Architecture/ Mech/ Civil/ Aeronautical/ Metallurgical/ Aerospace Engg with 60% marks. Age: 21 – 25 University Entry Scheme (SSC) (Naval Architecture) BE/BTech in Naval Architecture/ Mech/ Civil/ Aeronautical/ Metallurgical/Aerospace Engg with 60% marks.
