Indian Navy invited applications from 10+2 exam pass candidates for enrolment as Sailors for Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) - 01/2017 Batch course commencing from February 2017.

The application process of the recruitment was held from 23.05.2016 to 05.06.2016

Eligibility Criteria-

10+2 (12th)/ equivalent examination pass with Maths, Physics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science.

Age Limit –

Candidates should be born between 01 Feb 1996 to 31 Jan 2000

Physical Standards-

Height - Minimum 157 Cms
Chest - Minimum 5 Cms expansion
Weight - Proportionate to height and age
Physical Fitness Test (PFT) - PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run in 07 minutes, 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups.

Selection & Recruitment Process-

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test, qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

Candidates who qualify in all respects will be shortlisted depending upon available vacancies.

Pay Scale –

Rs.5200-20200 with GP of Rs.2000/-
