Re: Indian Navy TGC Entry

Indian Navy was established in 1830. It is the part of (Ministry of Defence, Government of India), Indian Armed Forces.

Its head quarter is located at New Delhi. The President of India serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy.

The Navy has the following three commands, each under the control of a Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief:- i.e. The Western Naval Command, The Eastern Naval Command and The Southern Naval Command .


The details about the Qualification/Educational criteria required for TGC or Technical Graduate Course entry in Indian Navy are as follows:

Qualification/Educational Criteria:

BE/B. Tech in streams of Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, CS, IT etc as per mentioned in official notification or M.Sc in Computer or any other equivalent qualification from a reputed University or Institutions.

Age Limit (in yrs):
Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have age will be 20 years minimum and 27 years maximum.
In regards of age relaxation, it will be provided by norms of Government.

Salary(in Rs.) :
One gets the salary for Rs. 15600-39100/- with GP of Rs. 5400/- on monthly basis as per decided by organization.

Mode of Selection :
One is selected on the basis of their performance in Short listing of Applications, Psychologist, Group Testing Officer, Interviewing Officer & SSB Interviews.
