The South Western Railway has released a notification for the recruitment of Group ‘C’ category in Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade pay Rs. 1900/- (Vl CPC) and 07 (Seven) posts in erstwhile Group ‘D’ in Pay Band-1 Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- (Vl CPC) vacancies against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2016-17.

1. Group C [Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade pay Rs. 1900/- (Vl CPC)]: 02 Posts

2. Erstwhile Group D [Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade pay Rs. 1800/- (Vl CPC)]: 07 Posts

Eligibility-

12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate or Matriculation Plus Course completed Act Apprenticeship/ lTl approved by NCVT/ SCVT with not less than 50% marks in aggregate from recognized institution for S.No-01

10th or ITI or equivalent from recognized institution for S.No-02, with Scouts & Guides qualification.

Age Limit:

Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 29 years for S.No-01

Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years

Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on written test & assessment of talent in the relevant field..
