Indian Toll (Army and Air Force) Act 1901 is an act to amend the law relating to the exemption from tolls of persons and property belonging to the Army and Air Force. Please find the file attached below which the full has detailed description of the Indian Toll (Army and Air Force) Act 1901 Indian Toll (Army and Air Force) Act 1901 The Ministry of Defence has conveyed to the notice of this Ministry that Defence work force, their own vehicles and Civil Hire Transport utilized in the administration of barrier strengths are confronting challenges "at Toll Collection Center on National Highways as they are not being all owed exclusions of charges admissible under the Indian Tolls (Army and Air Drive) - Act, 1901 in various parts of the nation. The matter has been analyzed in meeting with the Ministry of Law and Justice (Deptt of Legal Affairs) and it has been clarified by that Ministry that the arrangements of the Indian Tolls (Army and Air Force) are appropriate to accumulation of tolls on National Highways. Extricates from the Indian Toils (Army and Air Force) Act, 1901 are encased (Annex-I).
