In 2008, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) formally entered into the Middle East region, establishing Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Middle East) Limited and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (QFC) Branch in quick succession and commencing businesses.
