State Institute of Fashion Design (SIFD) was established in the year by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Haryana.

Courses offered:
SIFD offers specialization in four design disciplines
Fashion/apparel design
Life style accessories design
Textile design
Product design

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be a citizen of India
Applicants must have pass 10 + 2 examination from a recognised state examination board with a minimum of 50 per cent of marks.

Workshops:
Fashion design workshops: stitching and draping facilities.
Foundation workshops - materials is facilitated
Product design workshop: basic machineries with wood, metal and plastics
Textile design workshops: weaving, dyeing and printing facilities.
