Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is a type of an autonomous institute. It was established in 1979. It offers management training, support and research services to students dedicated to rural development; in this process it has brought within its domain several co-operatives, NGOs, government development agencies, international development organisations and funding agencies.

Courses Offered:

Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM):
It is for students and professionals looking for careers in research, teaching and specialised knowledge-based positions in cooperatives and development organisations.
Post-graduate Programme in Rural Management (PRM):
It is for those who desire to undertake exciting managerial responsibilities in the rural co-operative sector and development organisations. PRM is accepted as equivalent to a Master’s degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is permitted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Management Development Programmes:
It is for in-service executives/officers working with organizations, NGOs, and government and semi-government organisations engaged in rural development.
