Re: Intake Of Iift
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is an autonomous public business school founded in 1963 by the Government of India (Ministry of Commerce and Industry) to help professionalize the country's foreign trade management and augment exports by developing human resources; generating, analyzing and disseminating data; and conducting research. Its flagship program is the Master of Business Administration in International Business (MBA-IB). As you want to know about the IIFT Seats IIFT Seats: There are 312 seats in IIFT. For the academic year 2013-15, IIFT had selected 235 students for the Delhi campus and 77 students for the Kolkata campus. IIFT Seats IIFT Fees: The fee for the IIFT MBA (IB) academic year 2013-15 was Rs. 6,37,500. According to IIFT, the fee for the academic year 2014-16 might be amended, which will be informed to the students at the time of sending the offer letters in March 2014. IIFT 2013 Cutoff: The IIFT 2014 cutoff is predictable to be a score of 50+. The total marks in IIFT 2013 were 100. Since the pattern was alike to last year, it is expected that the cutoff will also range in the similar bracket. There will be sectional cutoffs as well for IIFT. Selection Process The candidates will be short listed on the basis of the scores and the cutoff marks. The short listed candidates will have to write a Statement of Purpose (SoP) which will describe the prospective students’ character and rationalize the purpose of pursuing MBA (IB) from IIFT. The form also includes several questions which introspect the personality of the student. The short listed candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Essay Writing rounds. The topics usually range on General Knowledge or present affairs. For e.g. one of the essay topics of IIFT 2013-15 admission process was ‘The British Raj: Boon or Bane for India’. A GD topic was ‘Should recruiters give the maximum weight age to the MBA degree or individual talent?’ |
