Qualification
Candidate should have done 12th from recognised university
Candidate should be of science stream

Exam pattern
IPU CET was OMR based. It is advisable to use only black ball pen for writing or marking on OMR answer sheet.
The subjects for IPU CET Exam 2016 were Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (comprised of 33.33% each).
IPU CET 2016 comprised Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and the candidate had to select the correct answer amongst four choices given.
IPU CET 2016 Exam duration was of two and half hours.
There was negative marking in IPU CET
One mark was deducted for every wrong answer.
