IPS exam after completing B.Tech
Hello buddy I have completed B.Tech now I am wondering to fight exam of Indian Police Service can you plz provide me basic info and its eligibility??

Hello here I am providing you information and eligibility on IPS exam as under: ABOUT INDIAN POLICE SERVICE: The Indian Police Service was constituted under the Constitution of India in the year of 1948. The IPS officers provide senior level leadership particularly in the areas of crime prevention, smuggling, corruption in public life, investigation, maintenance of public peace, border policing, drug trafficking, disaster management and more, to Police Forces at the district, States and at the Center level. Eligibility: You can apply for Civil Services as you have completed graduation (B.Tech). Civil Services exam constitutes three parts: 1. CSAT 2. Mains 3. Interview Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services: 1.you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation. 2.your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. 3.indian citizenship. Limit number of attempts: general: 4 attempts OBC: 7 attempts SC/ST: No Limit Special Physical Requirements For IPS: A minimum height of 165 cm for men and 150 cm for women The minimum chest girth, fully expanded: 84 cm for men and 79 cm for women. Expansion of 5 cm for both men and women. The total amount of Myopia should not exceed minus 4.00 D and the total amount of Hypermetropia should not exceed plus 4.00 D. |
