The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) today advised insurance agencies to go without structure working with 884 corporate specialists who had not enrolled their PAN (perpetual record number) with the organization permitting web entrance.

IRDA had prompted all insurers through the office entry to upgrade the wage charge PAN number of their corporate operators on the specialist authorizing website.

In this way, 884 corporate agents have neglected to enlist their PANs with IRDA's Agency License Portal, IRDA said.

"In this regard, the guarantors are encouraged to issue a show cause notification to the Corporate Agents … to furnish explanations behind inability to create the PAN number and why the Insurer ought not prescribe to the Authority for the cancelation of their corporate specialist permit," the controller said in an announcement.
