UNT Testing Provided by Counseling & Testing Services

The Institutional Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is administered to students who are applying for admission to the University of North Texas. Scores earned on the Administration are available ONLY to UNT. They are not reported by the College Board to candidates or their secondary schools and are not retained for subsequent reporting to another college.

The registration form must be completed and mailed to: University of North Texas Counseling and Testing Services 1155 Union Circle #311333 Denton, Texas 76203-5017 Registration forms must be received by the testing center prior to the testing date, please see your registration sheets for specific dates for each test administration.

The Institutional SAT can be taken only one time. You must register for the national Admissions Testing Program if additional testing is needed.

Hours

Tuesday – Friday: CLEP, Distance Learning and TSI. (See ‘Test Specific Information’ below for hours.)

Tuesday - Saturday: GRE, TEXES, PRAXIS and TOEFL – 7am-5pm

The TSI Exam is Given at two Locations on UNT’s Campus; Here in the Gateway Center room 140.

The Gateway Center offers the TSI to prospective students of any university and charge $25 cash or money order fee payable on the day of the exam.

You must schedule an appointment in order to take the TSI at either location.
