The Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad is conducts the ISM EE for the M.Tech candidates who do not have valid GATE scores or have not appeared for GATE exam.

The Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad offers admission in M. Tech. to the candidates both with and without valid GATE score. Candidates without GATE scores or low GATE scores can apply and appear for the ISM EE to avail admissions.

Eligibility?:

Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent from Institutes recognized by UGC/AICTE

ISM EE Exam Pattern:

There will be three sections of objective type questions based on the given syllabus:

Part A: 30 questions of 1 mark each
Part B: 20 questions for 2 mark each
Part C: 10 questions of 3 marks each
Negative marking- 25%

Application Fees: Rs.2000 (Rs 1000 for SC/ST/PC candidates)
