Re: ISRO Entrance Exam for 12th Student

Candidate who want to get admission in B.Tech program of the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology a unit of ISRO should have to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (Main)- conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) - conducted by IITs.

Eligibility for the exam:

Candidate should pass 10+2 level exam with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics subject of study.


Candidate should secure the minimum prescribed marks in JEE (Advanced) as :

General Candidates (GEN):
At least 20% marks in aggregate
At least 5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics)


Other Backward Community –
Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) Candidates:
At least 18% marks in aggregate
At least 4.5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics).

Scheduled Caste(SC), Scheduled Tribe(ST) & Persons with Disabilities(PD) Candidates:
At least 10% marks in aggregate
At least 2.5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics)


In JEE-(Advanced)-
The maximum mark for each subject is :120
Aggregate marks: 360


B.Tech Programmes at IIST:
4-Year B.Tech Programme in Aerospace Engineering (60 Seats)
4-Year B.Tech Programme in Avionics (60 Seats)
5-Year Dual Degree (B.Tech and M.S./M.Tech.) Programme (20 Seats)
