The Indian Remote Sensing satellite, IRS-1C, which was dispatched on December 28, 1995, has finished ten years of operation. IRS-1C conveyed a special blend of three best in class cameras - a Panchromatic Camera with a spatial determination of 5.8 meter, a Linear Imaging Self Scanner-3 with a determination of 23 meter and a Wide Field Sensor with a determination of 188 meter.

IRS-1C is India's second era operational Remote Sensing Satellite. The satellite conveys Payloads with upgraded abilities like better Spatial determination extra ghastly band, enhanced repeitivity and expand the Remote Sensing capacity of the current IRS-1A and IRS-1B.
