The Undergraduate courses/programs offered by ISRO or Indian Space Research Organisation are as follows:

4-Year B.Tech. ( Aerospace Engineering )

The students who complete B.Tech. program in Aerospace Engineering would have acquired the essential knowledge and skill sets to utilize their knowledge to carry on various tasks at various Institutions/Centers as given below.
1. Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Trivandrum
2. ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore
3. Space Application Centre, Ahmadabad
4. Sathish Dhawan Space Centre, SHAR
5. Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre, Trivandrum, Bangalore, Mahendragiri
6. ISRO Satellite Tracking Centre, Bangalore
7. National Aerospace laboratories (NAL)
8. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL)
9. Various Industries involved in design and development of mechanical systems
10. Industries involved in development of aerospace systems.


4-Year B.Tech. ( Avionics )

The students who complete B. Tech program in Avionics would have acquired the essential knowledge and skill sets to utilize their knowledge to carry on various tasks at various institutions/centers as given below.

2. ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore
3. Space Application Centre, Ahmadabad

6. Master Control facility, Hassan
7. National Remote sensing centre, Hyderabad
8. ISRO Satellite Tracking Centre, Bangalore
9. Bharat Electronics Ltd.(BEL)
10. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL)
11. Various Industries involved in Design and development of electronics systems
12. Industries involved in development of software systems and computer networking.


5-Year Dual Degree (B.Tech. + M.S./M.Tech.)

The 5-year Dual Degree programme leads to B.Tech degree in Engineering Physics and any of the following Post-Graduate degree specializations:

(i) M.S. (Astronomy & Astrophysics) (ii) M.S. (Earth System Science) (iii) M.S. (Solid State Physics) (iv) M.Tech. (Optical Engineering) (There is no exit option at the end of four years).

Reservation of Seats
Candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved based on relaxed criteria as per applicable rules of the Government of India.

The categories included are

Scheduled Castes (SC) --- 15%
Scheduled Tribes (ST) --- 7.5%
Other Backward Castes (OBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) --- 27%
Persons with Disabilities (PD) --- 3% (Horizontal Reservation)
