The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has advanced a system through which money related backing is accommodated directing innovative work exercises identified with Space Science, Space Technology and Space Application to the educated community in India.

This system of Research Sponsored by ISRO is called RESPOND

The essential goal of the Indian Space system is to tackle the propelled research regions of space science and innovation for national improvement and to determine the most extreme advantage for the general population of India. The Indian Space Program incorporates the accompanying significant components:

Showing of the plausibility of getting from space science and innovation applications in space correspondences, long separation instruction, earth assets mapping/overview, meteorology and geodesy.

React (Sponsored Research) program began in the 1970s goes for urging the educated community to partake and contribute in different space related exercises. Under RESPOND; activities are taken up by colleges/scholastic organizations in the zones of importance to Space Program.

Aside from this, ISRO has likewise set up Space Technology Cells at debut establishments like Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) - Bombay, Kanpur, Kharagpur and Madras; Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and Joint Research Program with University of Pune (UoP) to complete examination exercises in the zones of space innovation and applications. These STCs and JRP are guided by Joint Policy Committee's (JPC) led by Director/Vice Chancellor of the separate foundation and with individuals from ISRO/DOS (Senior Scientists/Engineers) and the particular organization.
