IU School Of Medicine Admissions Requirements are as given below:

1.Ninety (90) credit hours from an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution although most applicants will matriculate with a B.A. or B.S. degree.

2.Early Decision Applicants (EDP) must have a minimum cumulative and science GPA of 3.6, 30 MCAT with no individual score below 8, and apply by August 1.

Course curriculum is based on competency that it want to adopt here the course curriculum:
First year curriculum:
Level 1 competency attainment
(course sequence varies by campus)

Fall: Gross Anatomy, Histology, Biochemistry, Introduction to Medicine
Spring: Physiology, Neuroscience, Microbiology/Immunology, Introduction to Medicine 1

Second year curriculum:
Level 1 competency attainment
(course sequence varies by campus)

Fall: Pharmacology, General Pathology, Introduction to Medicine 2, Biostatistics
Spring: Genetics, Systemic Pathology, Introduction to Medicine 2, Biostatistics

Third year curriculum:
Level 2 competency attainment

Three, 4-month "megablocks" consisting of the following: Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Surgical Subspecialties, Anesthesiology, Ob/Gyn, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Elective or vacation

Fourth year curriculum :
Level 3 competency attainment

Required rotations: Medicine sub-internship, Emergency Medicine, Radiology, and seven electives
Core Values, Guiding Principles and Professionalism
